spring week 3

If my story took place 300 years in the future, I think the narrative would involve more futuristic stuff such as techology and maybe even a cure to ghouls. It would only make sense for this to occur because they have already been studying ghouls, this is how the doctors came up with the quinx, which are humans that have kagune (a ghoul asset) to fight ghouls.

My story’s theme song would be unravel by TK. Basically, the song is about how Kaneki is conflicted and how he’s caught between the ghoul and human world. He’s afraid to lose his sanity and lose touch of his human side. Therefore, he creates another personality for himself. To escape the torture and pain he’s been experiencing and this song captures all of that.

Spring week 1

If I had to adapt the Tokyo Ghoul manga into a movie, I don’t think much can be cut from it. Every character involved in the stories usually plays a big part within the manga. Even the smallest of the characters contribute to the story. I can say that leaving out parts of this story would not give us a good movie due to the anime adaptation of the manga. They cut out a lot of important parts which leave the audience wondering what happens if they are not manga readers. Therefore, I don’t think I would cut anything out.

Week 13 Question

If I could choose an alternative title for my book it would be “Our journey to being the greatest heroes”. I would choose this title because throughout the story it talks about all the heroes except that Deku is the main character. Although Deku is the main character, you can see the changes in other heroes and not just him. This would make way to demonstrate all the greatness others can also achieve and not limit it to just one person. Deku is cool and all but there is also others such as Kirishima, Bakugo, Todoroki, etc, that show promising skills.

Week 12 Question

The most important object in my story would be All Might’s strand of hair. This object is important because it marks the beginning of Deku’s journey since he had to eat it to acquire All Might’s powers.  All Might’s secret is that he can pass down his powers through his DNA, that’s why Deku had to eat All Might’s hair.

Week 11 Question

1) If I was to chose a character from my story it would be Kirishima. Kirishima is a team worker and he wouldn’t leave anyone behind. He is the one to trust when his friends are in trouble. For example, when Bakugo got kidnapped, he wasted no time in going after him. Kirishima’s spirit and passion to be a hero adds to the pros of joining forces with him. That’s why I would chose Kirishima to be on my team.

Week 10 Question

Chapter 2 page 11 is very important because it is where All Might offers to pass down his powers to Deku and he accepts the offer. This is the beginning of Deku's journey of becoming the greatest hero, as well as making All Might's power his own.
